I'm a second-year Ph.D. student at the
Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML),
University of Adelaide.
I'm fortunate to be advised by Prof.
Javen Qinfeng Shi, Dr
Zhen Zhang, and Dr
Yuhang Liu.
Before my Ph.D., I spent four years in industry. I received my M.S. from
Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT), advised by Prof. Xiao Zhou, and I earned my B.E. from WHUT as well. During my master's, I was a visiting student researcher at
Berkeley DeepDrive, UC Berkeley, advised by Dr
Ching-Yao Chan.
My current research focuses on identifiability analysis in (multimodal) representation learning, and principled methods for disentanglement.
Looking ahead, I aspire to build principled AI systems that can reliably uncover and represent the semantic structures underlying data.
