I'm a 2nd-year Ph.D. student at the
Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML),
University of Adelaide.
I'm fortunate to be advised by Prof.
Javen Qinfeng Shi, Dr
Zhen Zhang, and Dr
Yuhang Liu. My research focuses on representation learning, multimodal modeling, and latent variable modeling.
I aim to develop principled AI models that can robustly infer and represent underlying semantic structures.
Prior to my Ph.D., I spent four years in industry.
I received my M.S. from
Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT),
where I was advised by Prof. Xiao Zhou.
During this time, I was also a visiting student researcher at
Berkeley DeepDrive, UC Berkeley,
advised by Dr
Ching-Yao Chan.
I earned my B.E. from WHUT as well.
